Footer

Footer is configured under Customize → Footer group → Footer.

Block types

Add blocks in any order:

Block	Use for
Logo	Brand mark + tagline
Menu	A list from Online Store → Navigation; can have a heading
Text	Free text + optional heading (about block, store address)
Newsletter	Email signup form (connects to Shopify Email or Klaviyo)
Social	Reads social URLs from Theme settings → Social media
Image	Logo wall, payment badges, certifications

Layout

Blocks render as columns above 990px. On tablets they collapse to two columns; on mobile to one column with each menu block becoming an accordion (tap to expand). This avoids a tall scroll on phones.

Bottom bar

Below the columns, a thin row contains:

• Copyright — auto-prefixed with © {current_year} {shop name}
• Payment icons — automatically pulled from Shopify's enabled payment methods
• Localization — currency / language pickers if multiple are enabled in Markets

You can hide payment icons via Footer section settings.

Newsletter block

• Form action posts to /contact#contact_form (Shopify's customer accounts endpoint, type customer)
• Connects to your active email tool automatically (Shopify Email by default; Klaviyo if their app is installed and configured to listen for customer.created webhooks)
• Success message: editable in section settings
• GDPR consent checkbox: editable label, optional

Social block

Reads from Theme settings → Social media. Supported networks: Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn. Add only the URLs you want shown — empty fields hide automatically.

Tips

• Keep heading text short (1–2 words). Long headings break column rhythm.
• For 4-column footers, balance: don't put Newsletter (which needs width) next to a heavy menu column.
