First publish checklist

Run through this checklist before making Dost your live theme.

Branding

• Logo uploaded (Online Store → Themes → Customize → Header section)
• Favicon set in Theme settings → Favicon
• Brand colours picked or preset selected (Theme settings → Colors)
• Fonts match your brand (Theme settings → Typography)

Content

• Main menu has 4–6 links
• Footer menu populated
• Homepage sections all reference real products / collections (no placeholder warnings in the editor)
• Announcement bar message matches current promo or hidden if not used
• Newsletter target list connected (Shopify Email or Klaviyo via integration)

Cart

• Cart drawer or full cart page chosen (Theme settings → Cart → Cart type)
• Free shipping bar configured if used (set threshold, copy)
• Terms & conditions checkbox configured if your region requires it
• Discount code field is on or off depending on policy

Product page

• Block order set as desired in Customize → Product → Product information
• Quick view enabled if you want it on cards (Product cards settings)
• Sticky add-to-cart behavior matches your preference (mobile only by default)

SEO basics

• Page title format in Shopify admin → Online Store → Preferences
• Social share image set (Theme settings → Social media → Share image)
• OG locale matches your shop locale

Test on mobile

Open the preview link on your phone and run through:

• Open & close cart drawer
• Add an item, change qty, remove an item
• Open product page → switch variants → open quick view from a card
• Use search overlay
• Use filters on a collection page

Lighthouse pass (optional but recommended)

In Chrome DevTools → Lighthouse, run a mobile audit on the homepage and a product page. Dost targets 90+ Performance and 100 Accessibility / Best Practices / SEO out of the box. Anything below indicates a third-party app or asset weight problem — see Troubleshooting → layout shift.

Publish

You're ready. Online Store → Themes → Actions → Publish.
