Add Dost to your Shopify store from the Shopify Theme Store.
Updated 2026-05-09
Before you start
- A Shopify store on any plan that supports Online Store 2.0 themes (i.e. not Lite-only)
- The Shopify account that will own the theme license — themes are tied to the store you purchase them on
Buy and add Dost from the Shopify Theme Store
- Open the Dost listing on the Shopify Theme Store.
- Click Try theme to load it as an unpublished theme on your store, or Buy theme to purchase the license.
- Sign in to the Shopify admin you want to install Dost on (if you're not already).
- Confirm the store from the dropdown and approve the install.
- Shopify adds Dost to your Online Store → Themes → Theme library.
Try theme vs. Buy theme: Try theme is free and lets you customize and preview Dost on your live store data without paying. You only need to Buy theme before you publish it as your live theme.
Find Dost in your admin
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
- Scroll down to the Theme library section — Dost appears there.
Preview before publishing
Click Customize on the Dost card to enter the theme editor, or Actions → Preview to open a customer-facing preview in a new tab. Nothing you do in either view affects your live store.
Publish
When you're ready, click Actions → Publish on the Dost card. Dost replaces your previous live theme. Customers see it on the next page load — no caching delay.
Tip: Don't publish on a busy sales day. Even a perfectly tested theme should go live during a quiet window so you can roll back quickly if needed.
Roll back
Your previous theme stays in the Theme library. To roll back, find it under Theme library and click Actions → Publish.
Next steps
- Load demo content (optional, recommended for a fresh store)
- First publish checklist
