Gallery layouts
Slider, grid 1-2-2, grid 2-2-2, grid 1-1-1 — picking the right gallery for your imagery.

Four gallery layouts cover most catalog needs. Set in Customize → Product → Gallery layout.
Slider
Single main image with thumbnail column on the left (desktop). Click a thumbnail or use arrow buttons to switch images. On mobile the gallery becomes a swipeable single-image carousel with dots.
Best for: apparel, accessories, anything that benefits from large hero imagery + many alternates.
Grid 1-2-2
First image is a full-width hero, then 2 rows of 2 images each. Editorial — feels magazine-like.
Grid 2-2-2
Three rows of 2 images each. Clean grid feel — works for products with 6 well-shot frames.
Grid 1-1-1
Single column of full-width images. Vertical scroll. Best for very tall imagery (full-body lookbook shots, lifestyle vignettes).
Mobile behavior
All grid layouts collapse to a swipeable carousel on mobile (since stacking 5+ tall images creates a tall scroll on phones). Slider stays a slider.
Image ratio (theme-wide)
Theme settings → Product → Image ratio:
original(default) — each image keeps its natural ratio1-1,3-4,4-5,4-3— force a uniform crop
When non-original is chosen, you also set Focal point (Top / Center / Bottom) — controls how each image is anchored when cropping.
Force a ratio when your product imagery is mixed and you want the gallery to feel orderly. Keep
originalwhen imagery is consistent.
Video & 3D models
Galleries support image, video, and 3D model media types. Switching to a video slide auto-pauses if you switch away. Auto-play (when enabled in settings) starts the video as soon as it becomes the active slide on mobile.
