Password page

Shown when your store is in "Password protected" mode (Shopify admin → Online Store → Preferences → Restrict access).

Settings

• Heading + Sub-heading — coming-soon copy
• Background image (optional, full-screen)
• Email signup — captures emails before the password is removed
• Logo — pulled from theme settings, or uploaded separately for the password page
• Password input — for store admin or trusted customers

Notes

• The password page uses its own layout/password.liquid (not the regular theme.liquid). It still inherits theme tokens (colors, fonts, motion) from the same shared snippet so visuals stay on-brand.
• After authenticating, customers see the regular store.

Tips

• Use a hero background that previews your brand ("Opening November 14") rather than a blank page.
• Email signup pre-launch builds your launch list — the form connects to Shopify's customer database.
